| Rodney Ross is SCF Athletic's Student-Athlete for
December. During the month, Ross scored 13.1 points per game,
pulled down 8.6 rebounds per game, and blocked 1.2 shots per
game. During the voting period, Ross lead all players in
scoring and rebounding. In the classroom, Ross achieved at a
high level, as well. He completed the fall term with a 3.0
GPA. |

| Chloe Murphy is SCF Athletic's Student-Athlete for May. Chloe
has been a leader and an integral part of the tennis team's success
the last two years. She has remained positive through adversity and
is a true team player. She has had two shoulder surgeries, taught
her self to play with her left hand (she is right handed) and was
able to be a state champion while doing so. She is a great student
and recently was named the 2014 NJCAA Division 1 "Jovana Vasic
Spirit of Competition" award winner at the national championship
tournament. Chloe was a singles semi-finalist and lost
in the quarter finals of doubles and the NJCAA National Tournament
in Tyler, TX. |

| Sean Trent is SCF Athletic's
Student-Athlete for April. Sean committed to play baseball next
year at the United States Naval Academy. He has been voted a team
captain by his teammates and is an outstanding student with a
current 3.53 GPA (3.79 GPA at SCF). He has added classes like
trigonometry and precalculus algebra during the rigorous baseball
schedule. He is currently hitting .381 with a team leading 25
RBIs. "Sean embodies what a student-athlete should be. He works just as hard in the classroom as he does on the field," said Head Baseball Coach, Tim Hill. |

Blake Harper is a fresman from Sarasota,FL. Harper is a 6'4 guard from Booker High School. This season he has put up 157 points and 41 rebounds for the Manatees. Head Coach Elliot Washington had this to say about Haper, "Blake is an excellent kid. He's hardest working player we have on the team, every practice or game, Blake exemplifies the type of kid SCF Basketball needs for success on or off the court!" |

Maja Ristic is a fresman from Brcko, Bosnia. Ristic finished her
freshman season with 312 kills and 349 points for the Manatees. .

Alyssa Latham is a sophomore from Punta Gorda, FL. Latham
finished the regular season with 1003 assists. She's currently
ranked 14th in the nation in assists overall and 7th in the nations
in assists per set (10.67). Alyssa also puts the "student" in student-athlete by excelling in her classes while taking a rigorous courseload and playing a vital role on the court as well. |

| Ben Ancheff is a sophomore from
Williamstown, PA. Ancheff transferred to SCF from the University of
Georgia. This season, he was 11-3 with a 2.14 ERA. He pitched 92.2
innings allowing 85 hits with 79 strikeouts and 25 walks. He was
named 2nd Team All-State and Suncoast 1st Team All-Conference. He
has signed a baseball scholarship to the University of Central
Arkansas who will participate in the NCAA Regionals this
weekend. “Ben was a terrific pitcher for us and a great teammate. He was so much fun to be around and was one of the keys to the success we had this year. He will be missed next year. Central Arkansas is getting a great pitcher and an even better person.” |

SCF Athletic Department has named Robby Kalaf as the March Student Athlete of the Month. Robby is 5-0 with a 1.53 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 52.2 innings pitched for SCF. He has signed with Florida International University for next year. Coach Tim Hill, II said “Robby is one of our team captains and is an outstanding competitor on the mound. He gives us a chance to win every time he pitches. He is also a great kid and good student." |

SCF Athletic Department has named Savad Garner as the February Student Athlete of the Month. Savad is the heart and soul of the 2012-13 Manatees. In the last five games he has scored 106 points averaging 21.2 points per game. "At 6' tall, he leads the team in rebounding. Savad is THE toughest player I've ever coached," Coach Erickson. SCF Athletics Department selected Anders Haas as the
Student-Athlete of the month for January. Anders is an essential
part of the SCF Basketball team and thier first semester success in
the 2012-13 season. He was selected as the NJCAA/FCSAA Player of

SCF Athletics Department selected Tessa Alyman as the
Student-Athlete of the month for November. Tessa was an essential
part of the SCF Volleyball team's success in the 2012 season. She
was selected to the FCSAA 1st Team All-State, FCSAA All-Tournament
Team, Suncoast Conference 1st Team, and was also FCSAA Player of
the Week. |

Chloe Murphy won a national singles title on Saturday, October
13th at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) small college
tournament. This makes her the first Manatee in program history to
accomplish the feat. Lai Wei and Murphy were also the national
runners-up in women's doubles. In addition to these titles, Murphy
was the recipient of the James O'Hara Sargent Sportsmanship Award
for the 2012 ITA National tournament. |

SCF's Athletic Department selected Co-Student-Athletes of the
month for May. Ashley Burney (Softball) and Mariana Palacios
(Tennis) are huge assets to their teams. The freshman, Ashley
Burney (Palatka,FL) had an incredible weekend at the FCSAA
State/Region 8 Softball Tournament. The firstbaseman was 10-fo-15
with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. She had all 3 RBIs in the win over
Tallahassee and an extra inning walk-off blast to send the Softball
team to Nationals in St. George, Utah May 17-19. GO ASHLEY!! |

SCF Baseball's Cedric Walker has been named Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the month. The freshman from King High School in Tampa, FL has been instrumental for the Manatees in the month of March and in to April. Originally a middle infielder, Walker has been called on to take the mound for 34 innings of work. He has a 2.34 ERA with 5 conference wins and added 24 strikeouts. His opponents are hitting a dismal .175 against him. GO CEDRIC! |

Paige Mathews has been selected as the first recipient of the SCF Athletic Department Student-Athlete of the Month. The freshman pitcher from Oveido High School is FCSAA Pitcher of The Week for the second time this season. Mathews has compiled a record of (11-2) for the #5 ranked Manatees' softball team. In 95.67 innings of work, she has struck out 132 batters, given up only 13 earned runs, and has an ERA of 0.95. Paige has appeared in 19 of 30 games for SCF Softball, five of which she tossed complete game shutouts. |
