Baseball takes three from Polk State College, Walker gets win in 6-3 victory
WINTER HAVEN, Fla- SCF baseball traveled to Polk State College defeated the Eagles 6-3 to sweep the three game series. Starting pitcher Cedric Walker threw five innings to pick up the win. Tyler Hesselgesser threw two scoreless innings and Devin Raftery picked up his state leading 9th save of the season. Omar Garcia led the offense with four hits and two stolen bases. Dalton Busby had two hits, including a two out, two run single in the top of the 9th inning to add 2 insurance runs. This improved the Manatees to (20-8) and (3-0) in Suncoast Conference play.
