Baseball drops game three of home series vs. FSCJ
BRADENTON,FL- SCF lost to FSC-Jacksonville today, 6-5 in 10 innings. The game was tied 1-1 with 2 outs in top of 8th inning when FSCJ hit a 3 run homerun and added another run to make it 5-1. SCF added a run in the bottom of the 8th on a 2 out RBI single from pinch hitter, Kory Britton. SCF then tied the game with three runs in the bottom of the 9th. Orlando Rivera hit a two-out RBI single to make the score 5-3. Connor Hale then delivered a two run single to tie the game at 5. SCF stranded the winning run at 3rd base in the 9th inning. The Manatees had runners at 1st and 3rd in the 10th inning when they ended the game with a flyout. Tyler Rocklein had three hits while Connor Hale and Andrew Widell each added 2 hits.
