Hale was a four-year starter on varsity as a shortstop. He made First-Team All-Conference and led the country with a .502 batting average his senior year. He helped Mitchell High School earn its first district championship and its first appearance in a regional semi-final game. He made honor roll every year in high school and is pursing in an associate degree at SCF.
