Bradenton, Fla - The Suncoast Conference recognized nine Manatees softball players on the All-Conference Team for the 2017 season.
First-team honorees included sophomore, Jessica Harney, and freshman, Lindsey Hall. Harney led State College of Florida with 12 home runs. This was the most hit by a Suncoast Conference player and ranked 5th in the region. She hit .347 and ranked second on the team in batting average. Jessica drove is 54 RBI's and lead the team in this category. Lindsey Hall lead the team in hitting with a .361 batting average. Hall was second on the team in RBI production with 41.
Second team All-Conference pitchers included Sammi Grat and Carlee Lucas. Together they were the pitchers of record for 32 of the Manatees 35 wins this season. Sophomores Lexi Bettermann and Jamie Harney are joined by Taylor Engman as the SCF fielders recognized as second team All-Conference.
