NJCAA National Tennis Tournament: Abby Martinez receives Jovana Vasic Award

TUSCON, Az.- SCF Tennis sophomore, Abby Martinez, was awarded the Jovana Vasic Spirit of Competition Award at the NJCAA National Tournament. Players are nominated and selected by the coaches and officials at the tournament. Student-athletes are evaluated in the areas of fair play, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. This is the first year this award has been presented. It is particularly special as the namesake for the award, Jovana Vasic, played tennis at an FCSAA member school, St. Petersburg College.
