SCF Volleyball lands three on Suncoast All-Conference 1st Team
BRADENTON, Fla.- The State College of Florida volleyball team landed three players on the Suncoast Conference First-Team for the 2012 season. Tessa Alyman, Kierston Smith, and Natalie Fraley received top team honors. Two more Manatees were recognized on the second team, Brittane Hunter and Nicole McDonald.
BRADENTON, Fla.- The State College of Florida volleyball team landed three players on the Suncoast Conference First-Team for the 2012 season. Tessa Alyman, Kierston Smith, and Natalie Fraley received top team honors. Brittane Hunter and Nicole McDonald were also recognized on the Suncoast Conference second team.
The (22-6) Manatees have also had three player of the week honors this season. Alyman (FCSAA Player of the Week), Fraley (FCSAA Defensive Player of the Week) and Kathryn Torre (FCSAA Defensive Player of the Week) all earned this statewide recognition. Smith was also the NJCAA National player of the week in September.
SCF heads to the FCSAA/Region 8 State Tournament in Jacksonville, FL this weekend. The tournament starts on Friday, 11/2 at 1pm against Pensacola State College.
