Tessa Alyman & Natalie Fraley earn both FCSAA VB Player of the Week Honors
TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Tessa Alyman is the Offensive Player of the Week and Natalie Fraley is the Defensive Player of the Week for games through September 22nd. State College of Florida Volleyball continues to celebrate the accomplishments during the week of Sept. 22. The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) names an Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week throughout the volleyball season. This week, SCF landed both honors.

Tessa Alyman (Fr, North Bay, Ontario, Canada) a 6’0” outside hitter/middle blocker from State College of Florida, is the FCSAA Player of the Week. The freshman had 69 kills (4.1/set) on the week, leading the Manatees to a 5-0 week. In a big win against Central Florida, Alyman tallied 24 kills and 20 service points. At the net, she had 8 blocks and behind the line, 32 digs and 6 services aces. Alyman was named to the All Tournament Team at the State College of Florida Invitational.
Natalie Fraley (So, Boca Raton, Fl) a 5’4” libero from State College of Florida, is the FCSAA Defensive Player of the Week honors. For the week, Fraley had 83 digs with an average of 4.4 digs per game. She was named to the All Tournament Team at the State College of Florida Invitational. She made the 25 Dig Club this week with 27 digs vs. the #8 team in the nation, Central Florida. The Lady Manatees had a big week, going 5-0. They defeated Central Florida in a 5 set match, the final set was 31-29.
