Softball split with Miami Dade College, 4-7 and 8-3

BRADENTON- SCF Softball split with Miami Dade at home. The Manatees lost game one, 7-4, after leading 3-0 through the fourth inning. Chelsea Oglevie (4-2) started and was relieved by Kirstin Toole and Paige Mathews. In game two, Dani Wayt hit her first career three run home run to charge the Manatees' offensive attack. The team rallied to win 8-3. The Manatees are now (17-5) and hit the road Tuesday at Santa Fe.
