The sophomore shortstop from North Marion, Fla. burst on to the scene for SCF last season. At shortstop, her speed and range are remarkable. With her explosive power and strength, she made an impact in the lineup as lead off and finally settled in as the 3 spot hitter. She led the Manatees in batting average at .421 (through 20 games) before experiencing a season ending injury sliding in to 2B at Lake Sumter SC. She has bounced back and is stronger and hungrier than ever. Her sense of humor, coupled with her hard work, makes her a Player of the Year contender.
