A graduate of Ocoee High School, Metherall brings a calm demeanor and excellent work ethic to the 13-14 Manatees. She is a skilled catcher capable of calling pitches, framing and blocking with the best of them. She will do anything to be in the lineup. This hunger to play also makes her a contender in the outfield. She has a strong accurate arm and was a key hitter for SCF in the 2013 spring season. Metherall is often found staying after practice to hit extra rounds. This has paid off as she now has one of the most consistent and powerful swings for the Manatees.
