BRADENTON, FL- Freshman shooter from Denmark, Anders Haas, signed a letter of intent with NCAA Division I University at Albany in the America East Conference. In the 2013 season, he averaged 17 points per game and seven assists for the Manatees. Haas played his last two years of his high school career at Bishop O'Dowd in Oakland, CA.
"I am so proud of Anders," Coach Erickson said. "He had such an emotional year. To sign a full scholarship to Albany is a dream come true for him and he deserves it. Will Brown and the Albany staff did a great job recruiting him. Coming off an NCAA bid, Albany will be a great fit for Anders who has three years of eligibility. He will have an opportunity to play both guard positions right away next year which is something he really wanted in a program."
Ander was being recruited by Mercer University, Iona College, Florida Gulf Coast University and Liberty University.
