Tennis Ranked 3rd in the Nation

Bradenton, FL - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has released its 2015 Preseason tennis rankings.  State College of Florida is the ranked 3rd team in the nation. 

The Manatees, who finished the spring 2014 season ranked 8th, return two sophomores Natella Nabieva and Miranda Talbert.  Nabieva won the 2014 ITA Fall Regional and is individually ranked 4th in the nation amongst junior college tennis players.  Talbert, the 2013 Fall Regional champion, is ranked 19th in the nation.

Two newcomers to the SCF squad were, also, ranked in the ITA's top 50.   Mikala Lowarance a freshman from Orlando is ranked 30th in the nation.  She is joined by Ocoee standout Amiena Houston, ranked 42nd.
