Matching Challenge for Alumni Ends July 1st
Bradenton, Fla - The Board of Directors of the Jody Friedman Memorial Fund want to challenge all SCF athletic alumni to make this project a reality. The Fund will match every alumni gift of $25 or more, up to $10,000 towards the training facility in honor of Jody.
State College of Florida Foundation is asking for your support to raise $750,000 to build a 6,300-square-foot training facility on the Bradenton campus to serve both men’s baseball and women’s softball. The facility will house batting and pitching lanes for practice as well as a 525-square-foot office space for coach and player use. The training facility will be utilized by the community as well.

- Over 400 students moved on to four-year colleges
and universities, 240 to professional baseball and
30 Major League Baseball Players.
