MLB DRAFT: SCF Alum, Anthony Caronia, to Baltimore Orioles- 27th round

BRADENTON,Fla.- SCF Baseball alum, Anthony Caronia, was selected in the 27th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles. Caronia recently completed his junior season as the shortstop previously for the University of Tampa. The Orlando, Fla., native hit .295 with 19 RBI as a Spartan in 2012. He also led the team with 10 stolen bases. Caronia was part of the 2010 FCSAA State Championship team at SCF.
