SCF beats St. Petersburg College 11-2
BRADENTON, FL- The State College of Florida baseball team beat conference opponent St. Petersburg College with a final score of 11-2. Transfer pitcher, Ben Ancheff, earned the win on the mound improving his season record to (5-2). He threw six innings allowing only three hits and fanned six. Julian Santos had three hits and four RBI including a 2-run home run. Sean Trent had three hits including two doubles and an RBI. Orlando Rivera, Andrew Widell and Andrew McNett each had two hits. Adding to the explosive offense was Conner Hale and Jarred Smith who each hit a 2-run triple. SCF leads the Suncoast Conference at 8-1 and is 24-8 overall. They are currently ranked #3 in the FCSAA Region 8 poll, #10 in the Perfect Game national poll and received votes for the NJCAA National poll.
