Baseball Splits With Seminole State
The Manatees generated all four of their runs via the long ball, with Dominic Woodward and Calin Heath each delivering two-run homers. Woodward continued his strong stretch at the plate, finishing 2-for-2 with two RBIs and adding a sacrifice fly, while Heath connected on a key blast that helped SCF maintain the lead late in the game.
Ryan Kaitz added a double and scored once, and Holden Brauner chipped in with a hit as SCF totaled six hits against Seminole State starter Luis Prieto. Despite striking out nine times, the Manatees made their offensive chances count with timely power hitting.
On the mound, Radloff turned in another strong performance, tossing a complete game to improve to 8-3 on the season. The right-hander allowed three runs on eight hits while striking out four over seven innings. Seminole State threatened throughout the contest, but Radloff consistently worked out of trouble and stranded multiple runners to preserve the lead.
Seminole State's offense was powered entirely by Juan Orozco, who blasted two home runs and drove in all three runs for the Raiders. Orozco reached base four times, finishing 2-for-2 with two walks. Gabriel Parilli also recorded two hits in the loss.
Luis Prieto kept Seminole State within striking distance with a complete-game effort of his own, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out nine.
