SCF Basketball (4-1) beats Broward College (5-1), 100-82
DAVIE, Fla.- SCF Basketball traveled to Broward College on Saturday to face the (5-0) Seahawks, and won 100-82. The Manatees now (4-1) tied it up 40-40 at the half after trailing during the first half. SCF handed Broward their first loss of the season. High scorers for SCF include sophomore transfer, Isaiah Williams, with 17 points (all in the 2nd half), eight rebounds, seven assists, five steals and three blocks. Freshman starter, Obinna Oleka, had 17 points and five rebounds. Other Manatees with double digit points were Savad Garner (16), Anders Haas (10), Michael Sanchez (12) and Denzel Myers (13). SCF is currently ranked #10 in the FCSAA Coaches Poll and travel to Webber Inernational University on Wednesday.
