"I emphasized hustle plays and playing hard at practice all week. Our players responded with 15 offensive rebounds combined with a tremendous defensive effort causing 15 turnovers. We did a great job responding to last week's loss. Santa Fe has had three straight wins since returning from winter break, so this was a big win on the road against a strong team. Hopefully this is enough to prepare us for conference play next week."
SCF is 4-2 this season against Midflorida Conference opponents. They improved to (16-4) tonight going in to their last non-conference contest of the season. The Manatees' host Webber International University Saturday, January 19th at 4pm. SCF opens conference play next week on Wednesday, January 23rd at Polk State College, 7pm.
