Game 2 shutout earns split at IRSC

FT. PIERCE, Fla.- Paige Mathews threw a five hit shutout while striking out six. Angie Dascoli knocked in two runs with a single and a triple. Gianni Artidiello added two hits and a diving rally killing snag in the bottom of the 7th. The Manatees blanked the Pioneers 4-0 for the win. In game one, Kayla Bjorge, was a perfect 3-for-3, stole 2 bases and scored the only run. Ashley Brooks went 2-for-3. SCF came up short for the 2-1 loss. The Manatees are 27-7.
