Softball splits home double header with St. Pete, L 4-2 and W 5-4
BRADENTON, Fla.- SCF picked up a win at home against St. Petersburg College in a conference double header. In game one, the Manatees came out strong with two runs in the first inning. The Titans rallied back to tie it up in the third inning 2-2. The game went extra innings ending with an SPC win 4-2 in the ninth. Kayla Bjorge was 2-for-4 and Chelsea Oglevie went all nine for SCF. Game two, the Manatees rallied back in the bottom of the seventh inning to win 5-4. Kayla Bjorge was 2-for-3 with a walk and Angie Dascoli went 2-for-4 with the walk off RBI single in the seventh. This was Dascoli's 22nd RBI on the season. Mathews added win number 18. SCF is (33-9) overall and (4-2) in conference play.
