Game 1
The Manatees exploded offensively with eight runs on eight hits, led by the power bats of A'Lana Martinez and Bree Urban. Martinez launched a grand slam and finished with four RBIs, while Urban added a three-run homer as part of a 2-for-3 day at the plate. Together, the duo accounted for seven of SCF's eight runs.
SCF's lineup stayed productive throughout the game as Cailinne Kelly collected two hits and scored once, while Kierstyn Aumua doubled and crossed the plate. Bri Thies also contributed with a double and a run scored, and Jamie Sepsick added an RBI on a sacrifice fly.
In the circle, Allison Cole was nearly untouchable. The right-hander tossed a complete-game one-hit shutout, striking out five over five innings and never allowing Florida Gateway to generate momentum offensively. Cole retired 16 batters and did not issue a walk in the dominant outing.
Game 2
The Manatees powered their way to the win with three home runs and eight hits, led once again by A'Lana Martinez. Martinez went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, scored twice, and added a stolen base to spark the offense from the leadoff spot.
Bree Urban also went deep, finishing with two RBIs, while Kierstyn Aumua added a solo home run as part of a 2-for-3 performance with two runs scored. Brooke-Lynn Hilderbrand stayed hot at the plate as well, collecting two hits, scoring twice, and driving in a run. Kaitlyn Shea chipped in with an RBI single as SCF consistently applied pressure offensively.
The Manatees struck early, scoring eight runs in the first two innings to take complete control of the game. Their aggressive baserunning added to the momentum, with five stolen bases spread across the lineup.
In the circle, Kaitlyn Crouch earned the win with a complete-game effort, allowing two runs on six hits over five innings while striking out two. SCF's defense backed her up with a double play and several key outs to limit Florida Gateway's opportunities.
